ANIMATOR - In-betweens & Cleanup

Immediately following my graduation from School of Visual Arts in May 2019, I started work on my first commercial job at Hornet. I was tasked with cleaning up and in-betweening various shots of the ethereal, cloaked, blue characters known as the starkeepers. Directed by Yves Geleyn, this short film was created to be paired with a documentary for prescription cancer treatment, Cyramza. Working in metaphor, Planimation utilizes a breath taking mix of 2D and CG to show the team work, even at the smallest level, can heal even greatest of cosmic catastrophes. Planimation won Gold for Best Animation at the Ciclope International Festival of Craft 2020.
